The jungle is one of the most easily identified biomes on the planet due to its abundant vegetation, its incredible variety of flora and fauna , its tropical temperatures and the very high oxygen production that collaborates with the purification of the atmosphere. The jungle is characterized in most cases by having significant humidity levels, caused by high rainfall and by the presence of waterways that cross the different land spaces. Today, the preservation of rainforests (mainly those of the Amazon) is of great importance to maintain the climate of the globe and the level of oxygen in the atmosphere.

The jungle receives, therefore, its name from the conditions of its nature: practically virgin and not altered by the presence of the human being. The jungles are characterized primarily by the presence of dense and high groves that vary in type according to the regions of the planet being talked about. At the same time, a fundamental element of the jungle is its very high biodiversity or variety of flora and fauna. This means that within the same space you can find thousands of plant and animal species that are hardly found in other biomes.
In general, the rainforest is characteristic of tropical and subtropical climates, with temperatures (between 27 ° and 29 ° C), humidity levels (high) and rainfall (between 1500 to 2000 mm per year) particular and clearly differentiable from rest of the planetary ecosystems. Perhaps one of the most abundant and dense biomes on the planet, the jungle is closely related to the production of oxygen and the consumption of carbon dioxide, so they are essential to maintain conditions suitable for the livelihood of living beings on the planet Land.
